In 2025, bankESB’s community-focused “Funding Their Futures” program successfully raised more than $8,000 to support 13 local school systems. The initiative, designed to bolster educational resources and opportunities, channeled the funds directly into classrooms and district programs across the region.
The program engaged customers and community members through a series of donation-driven activities, including special promotions and matching contributions. Every dollar raised was allocated to participating schools, helping to cover essential supplies, technology upgrades, extracurricular activities, and other educational needs identified by individual districts.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming support from our community,” a bankESB representative stated. “This program reflects our commitment to investing in the future of our local students and educators. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference in the classroom.”
The 13 school systems that benefited from the 2025 campaign span a diverse geographic area, ensuring that both urban and rural districts received a share of the funding. School administrators expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting that such private-sector support often fills critical gaps left by state and federal budgets.
bankESB has pledged to continue the “Funding Their Futures” program in subsequent years, with plans to expand its reach and impact. The initiative remains a cornerstone of the bank’s broader community reinvestment strategy, which prioritizes education, financial literacy, and local economic development.
