PSJA ISD Sustains National Excellence with 12th Straight Music Education Award

For the 12th year in a row, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD has received the Best Communities for Music Education Award for 2026. The honor comes from the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation and recognizes the district's ongoing dedication to music programs.

PSJA ISD has kept a strong focus on giving students access to quality music education. The award highlights how the district supports band, choir, orchestra, and other music classes across its schools. School leaders say the recognition reflects the hard work of teachers and students who make music a priority.
