Butler running for spot on Talbot County Board of Education

Mike Butler has entered the race for the District 4 seat on the Talbot County Board of Education. He is seeking to represent the district as voters prepare for the upcoming election.

Butler said his decision to run comes from a desire to support students, teachers, and families across the county. He pointed to the importance of keeping local schools strong and making sure resources reach the classrooms where they are needed most.

The District 4 position covers a specific area of Talbot County, and the winner will help guide decisions on budgets, curriculum, and school policy. Board members also serve as a link between the community and school administrators.

Butler said he plans to focus on listening to parents and residents during the campaign. He added that he wants to bring a practical approach to the board and work with other members on issues that affect daily school life.

The election will give District 4 voters a chance to choose who represents them on the board. Butler said he looks forward to sharing his views with the community in the months ahead.
