Education Ministry recognizes Autonomous Administration education certificates

The Ministry of Education and Teaching has taken a step to allow students with basic education certificates issued by the Autonomous Administration to enroll in the first year of general secondary school. The decision applies to students who hold these certificates and have met a required score of 55 percent.

Along with this approval, the ministry also permitted students carrying recognized educational documents to move forward into the next grade levels. This opens a path for students who might otherwise have faced delays or rejection when trying to continue their studies.

The move addresses a practical problem for families and students who completed their basic education under the Autonomous Administration. Until now, the status of those certificates created uncertainty about whether students could join public secondary schools or advance normally. With this decision, eligible students can register and continue their education without needing to repeat years or seek alternative routes.

Officials did not announce additional conditions beyond the score requirement and the need for approved documents.
