Williamsburg County School District Tackles CCEIS Deficiencies

The Williamsburg County School District (WCSD) Office of Special Services has recently undergone a performance review conducted by the South Carolina State Department of Education. The review highlighted several deficiencies related to the district's Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) program.
In response to the findings, the district is taking proactive measures to address these issues and improve the services offered to students. The CCEIS program is designed to provide support to students who may require additional assistance before being referred for special education services. The review pointed out areas for improvement, including the need for enhanced training for staff and better resource allocation to meet the diverse needs of students.
